Evo9 Clutch pill
After much research It seems everyone removes the pill...I am awaiting my FR turbokit and was debating clutch choices...however it being know that the 6 speed is a bit weaker at higher hp levels, but not seeing as many 06 MR trans failures would it be a better idea to leave the pill in to allow less driveline shock as it was meant for? Im looking at a few different twin and triple disc clutches for the 450-600 hp range...
I would rather have the clutch take the beating than losing the transmission
any thoughts or ideas or experiences
please reply with real evidence and not hearsay as I know posts such as these usually end up that way
thanks

i have an evo 8 w/ exedy twin hd, upper and lower ss clutch lines, and the pill removed...i noticed that engagement was alot harsher when i installed all of these but now the clutch is broke in and the engagement isn't as harsh...when shifting at high rpm i always get the "rear diff clunk" which you can tell that there is some drivetrain shock there but people say the clunk doesn't hurt anything....but after i did the NLTS mod on my ecu the "rear diff clunk" is hardly noticable so i'm guessing that there is alot less drivetrain shock when shifting at high rpm with NLTS
NLTS = No Lift To Shift? WOT Shifting?
Is there a setting for the stock ECU that allows you to keep the wastegate open between shifts? Does it interrupt timing too, or just hold the waste gate open?
