The factory BCS is still connected (electronically) and that's why it is making noise. I'm running an EBC and I hear it as well. If I remember right, electronically disconnecting the BCS will throw a code.
BINGO! I had/have the same problem. I remember when I installed a Greddy EBC it said ticking from the solonoid was normal. I took it out months ago, and then all the sudden I started getting the noise again...
I was puzzled but then it hit me. The stock one was still connected. Traced the wired back to the ecu, and through a voltmeter on there and took the car for a spin while my gf read the voltmeter. Sure enough...
