if I were you I'd pay COBB to given you a written sheet of what is wrong with the car

that way you have a shop backing your findings in case you have any issues

That's a good idea...what is it doing to the car in the mean time not having the reservoir? Is the center diff just staying full open all the time?

Sounds like somebody either replaced the tcase with a non ACD model and removed the reservoir or possibly had a ACD pump failure not covered under warranty and removed it. Since it's a used car and was probably sold "as-is" who knows what your options are.

So, I went to the dealership today and set up an apointment for tomorrow. So, we'll see what they say then. I took the car over to COBB afterwards and then to Solid Autoworks here in SLC per their request. Within 5 minutes, Paul at SA was able to tell me the tcase had been swapped out for an older non acd unit, The radiator fan by the intake is missing, the intake/block brace is missing, and the sensors on the intake manifold have been moved around! I'll keep you all posted on how this unfortunate adventure goes.

Just some FYI, JDM 2004 E8 RSII has ACD in back and none in front

dropped it off this morning, guess I'll talk to the sales manager once the tech puts together a list of parts and their prices.

This makes me want to go out and check my car for any changes now. It goes to show you that most of the time you can't take a dealerships word.
