hey, my clutch recently started slipping. was wondering where the best place to buy a rebuild kit for my quartermaster twin disc.
also, when being rebuilt did ya'll resurface the flywheel??? and if so, did you add the same width in shims as the amount of material that you took off of the flywheel?

Since he isn't responding.. From what I was told.. Not very many.. and It was babied for the most part.. I was considering this clutch, but with the life on them.. I don't think it would be good for a daily driver with a lot of power .. since you would have to constantly rebuild it.. then eventually have to buy a whole new clutch!Originally Posted by Nissan2Evo

I run QM and I get 15-20K miles with plenty of track time/racing. QM is a 100% drag racing clutch you cant ask for more mileage out of it, but then again it all depends on how you drive and how good you launch. If you don't know how to drive your car then yes you will get under 10K miles
I get my rebuild kits/flywheel resurfaced at APM a local shop here in Chicago
