If your car is at idle and you push the gas peddle down and it bogs out, it is huge boost leak, most likely a coupler blew off, and the way you explained the woosh sound I would bet one of the couplers blew off...

Analysis: it wasn't a boost leak. air flow sensor was bad. The K&N filter on it had been rubbing on the hood since I got it and has always been a little damaged. And it is an oil type filter. So my guess is that the hood damaged the filter enough to cause it to suck in the oil that was on the outside of the filter, dirtying up the MAF and causing it to run like crap. I still don't know how it ran fine babying it the other day for 7 or 8 miles until the BOV released and then it started running like crap. I sprayed some air flow sensor cleaner on it and it ran better, but still started bogging at 3k rpms instead of 1.5k. The car actually runs better w/o the MAF connected, i can actually drive it like that, but I'm not, it's sitting until i get the sensor. I'm gonna order one. I'm getting a new filter too, so the same thing doesn't happen.
