dial more than 15 lbs of boost into my evc 5? I've got the ur turbo back installed with it. I can actually dial more boost, but the car won't produce more than 15.

 

Are you using the low or the high setting? You know, the two dials portion? And you also have to "teach" your EVC in order for it to work.


Perhaps you are doing this right, but you weren't very descriptive of the symptoms and your settings.

I know about the high/low setting, and I made three runs with the evc but still cannot hit higher than 15, how long do you have to teach it for, or is mine just a little retarded, I mean does it need to ride the short bus?

 

Learniong mods literally takes 2 runs..one in low the bosot setting, one in high. We prefer using third gear, starting at 2k rpm. For low boost you run it till the unit beeps/flahes, for high boost, run it to redline - and viola, its learned!

Note that you cannot adjust the low boost higher than your high boost - sounds like that may be what you are doing.

 

I can't wait to get settled down so that I can actually order all that stuff from you, Adam. This friggin' "moving, driving, moving, driving, find an internet connection, moving, driving" crap has got to stop.

HAHAHA....you might be able to fine a school bus and hook up the EVC 5 to it. Maybe you could get the things to go faster or something. Reminds me of the 10 second quarter mile school bus that they have in Puerto Rico. No lie. I have seen it in person. I swear, the stupid **** that I saw down there.......

At least the girls were easy.
