Spun Rod Bearing
Really would it be knocking like crazy? If i rev it and when the RPMs start to decel i hear a little rattle but its not like the videos i have seen and i didnt know if it was possible that the crank could be worn down maybe?
Well if your getting low oil pressure (light flickering) and you hear some rod bearing knock on decel that's not good news. Obviously the vid I linked to is an extreme case (it's knocking at every rpm not just on decel) but that's the type of sound your listening for. Also if you notice in the video they localize the sound to the bottom of the block. If it's a rod bearing it will get worse (knock will get louder), engine will lose power.
As far as engine oil goes, most people run Mobil 1 10w30 as specified by the mfr.

You would know if you spun a bearing, after a bearing spins it will seize to the crank within 5-10 miles and the car would just quit. Not to mention the horrid sound it puts out, you can hear it a mile away, it sounds like a paintball gun on automatic settings X10 "PAP PAP PAP PAP" As the RPM rises.
Now a damaged bearing will tap, there is a difference between a spun bearing and a severely damaged bearing. Spun bearing is self explanatory, it will spin around in the big end of the rod with the crank journal. An un spun bearing that is seriously damaged will make a pretty good tapping noise.
