Exclamation Transfer case concern...

Im pretty new to the Evo world, so bear with me. When i originally bought mine about a month ago, nothing appeared to be wrong with the car at all. Keep in mind, i drove it on the highway for 200 miles for the ride home. Recently, i've been noticing a whine from inside, but only from mph 60-65. After 65, its completely gone. Is it really possible that i've got the death whine or possibly something else?

i might be lucky after all. Like I said, Im new to the Evo and pretty much AWD drive in general. I went through pages and didnt find a problem similar to mine. I'd rather ask questions now then deal with headaches later. Thanks!!!
