Okayguys so im going to be putting in an order what do you think about this setup...... muse intercooler pipes, perrin fmic, aps 50/50 bov and hellmen mbc that runs into the cabin of the car.....

 

sounds like a good setup, but why do u want a incabin boost controller???
imo theirs no need of a incabin boost controller since ones the boost is set you dont have to mess with it again...

 

Yeah you do on a mbc bcuz of the change in weather...in hotter weather you will run less boost. when its colder you will run more boost. the stock bc does all that work for you.

i have the aps bov and it holds boost solid... i would go with the aps....but thats just me

 

Yeah I have the tial 50mm and hallman pro and my is stable no matter the weather...I was getting a big spike with taper due to the clipping of the turbine wheel on my green (I did not have it clipped--I bought it from another guy who isnt too smart when it comes to turbos)

 

I run 2 maps with Meth and no meth. I have a mbc and it's pain when switching maps.

Why not buschur race fmic or ETS 4"? Along with ETS piping?

dude im jsut not wraped up in all the bs everyone else is. If it isnt buschur parts or ams or ets then its junk????? You go buy all them over priced parts n keep you opinions to your self about if i have the right car or not. im going to buy whatever parts i feel like buying.

Im 20 years old dude and got this car for my 16th birthday from my dad who passed away when i was 18 and i have been having a hard time affording the 500 a month car payment and going to school full time so i can one day make a ****ing living.....

 

Agree with you man! GJ so far. AMS has a good MBC, Very easy and so far so good I recommend it! new UICP/LICP would be good with new front mount, hell even a tune we be awesome!

Sorry to hear about your dad passing. The reason I said go with Buschur or Ets is because they work. I'm not one to get baller stuff. Not a Buschur or ETS fan boy...just trying to steer you in the right direction. Most things you can get used and save.

And the evo is not a cheap car. 16 or 20 the car requires stuff done right for it to work properly.

Buy what u think its right man...I know u have knowledge for evos.....buy what u can afford...

 

The Perrin FMIC & the Muse piping work just as well, they are just less common routes but that doesn't mean they are inferior, just less popular.
