im not on the stock turbo ^^
i got a fp green than i got a 60-1 turbonetics....
i was not impressed with the power of the green so i got rid of it for a bigger turbo...
if i was you from personal experience i would get a red or green over the 9...or just get bigger cams like the s2 or cosworth m2s..... they will get you more power than the 9 turbo would...or save up your money and pick up a nice turbo kit from here

Oh i didnt even read your sig i just seen your 12.2 on evo 8 turbo. My bad man. I am having a big problems witht the cams that are in the car now. I bought them brandnew from AMS in 06 and had AMS put them in...Well back then the GSC cams were jsut 272s not S1,S2, and S3 so i have no idea what cams are mine. i posted in AMS and Andrew said they are the S2s then this guy was saying if they are the V1s or the V2s and you can tell if they are the V1s if i pull my valve cover off and see spider cracks. SOO now im kinda trippin bout these cams in my car.....

Always sumthin dude

The good thing is that If you buy a evo 9 turbo, you can always send it in for credit towards a green or red (most likely for more then you bought it for in the first place)

430whp would need the assistance of methanol or e85.

Good job on your clutch so far. I did mine myself twice in 2 days. I put it all together the first time and didn't put on the tob spring clip. So it would shift gears...had to take it all apart. I lost 10lbs in 2 days. It was crazy lol ...

Sooo today had its ups n downnsss.......First off i shipped my ams licp and mr bov today that i sold over the week so that was nice then i got on the computer to check a thread i started about my gsc cams i had put in my evo in 06. Turns out the 272s that were put in my car are smaller then the s1s then gsc offers now . I guess when i bought these gsc 272 cams that it was a universal cam that would work in the dsm and the evo so the lope was not very big....kinda bummed me out cuz i had money saved to get an evo 9 turbo but im going to buy the S2 cams now....God always sumthin with this dayum car!.....Then i call AMS to see about resurfacing my flywheel and porting my stock manifold....65 for the flywheel and around 200-250 to port the mani my god!

well on a good note i got my AMSOIL in the mail today

I got a Evo flywheel resurfaced for $30.00 yesterday at a local machine shop. Try a different machine shop.

The Evo flywheel is flat (no step up/down), very easy flywheel for a machine shop to do. You shouldn't have a problem. If you have time just get it resurfaced.

Some flywheels have steps up / steps down where the pressure plate mounts and the same amount of material needs to be removed from the steps as the flywheel surface which requires some accuracy and is cause for concern.

I dont really see the need for an aftermarket flywheel as of right now and i could use that 400 bucks towards sumthin else like my intercooler setup.

Yeah AMS wanted 200 to port my stock mani. i live 40min away from them and when they were at there old shop there prices wernt that bad but my god i can afford there stuff anymore!
