Good job so far on the clutch job I've done a few myself. Just to go back to the beginning of your thread about your wheel lock, you could have taken a pic of it and sent it to Mcguard and they would have sent you another wheel lock. That's what I did with mine.

For the whining, I don't think its your tranny. Could be wrong. You might want to have shep check your transfer case too while your sending your tranny. Good luck on the rest of your clutch job.

If it's feasible I would still get them checked out. I would hate for you to put it all together and the noise still be there and it be the tc

I've never been a fan of the redline cocktail. Seen a few transmissions have a really bad reaction with it.

You will have to flush it out with a few oil changes. If the damage is already done then you are out of luck.

Good write up so far. The hardest part I think is putting the tranny back in. Make sure you have it aligned perfectly.

I told you from the get go that i am taking my time with this job there is a lot more things that i am doing then just this clutch job. I am searching for an evo 9 turbo that will also be going on the car, bigger injectors will be going in the car for e85, new intercooler and pipes along with mini battery kit. Stock mani will be getting ported and i will be heatwrapn it and the downpipe. i also have to buy a mbc. Thats all i can think off of the top of my head and im still not 100% sure i want to send the trans n tc out bcuz i havent had a problem with it besides the noise in low rpm in 1st and 2nd gear.

All im sayin man is dont be negative to this thread cuz im going to slow for you. If you dont like how im doing things thrn dont read it man. i have been having a lot of fun doing this ON MY OWN and telling you guys all about it.

thanks to everyone else who understands and is being very supportive

my goal is 430/450 to the wheels. Any where in there i will be a happy camper with my evo. I have looked at the green and the red but as of right now i cant afford one but i think the evo 9 on e85 with my mods to back it up will make the power im looking for .

I see your still on the stock turbo bud...you lookin to go bigger?
