hey guys, ive been on the fence for a built motor for a while now, and im having trouble deciding which motor to go with. after some searching i couldnt really find any thing other than "2l better for drag 2.3 better for road racing" nothing really compairing the two..

i do not race yet, however will be doing road racing AND drag racing most likely.

to my understanding, the 2l revs higher however very low torque, which means higher spool?
and the 2.3l has the TQ to spool a 35r well, but cannot rev up as high? so are the power bands about the same on both motors? with a 2.3 will i NEED EMS? or will the stock ecu do.

i have a gt35r on my stock block now, and am wanting to use either it or a 37r on my next motor.. mind this is still a daily driven car.

also, what about compression ratios? i plan on running alott of boost.. something like 40 on 100% meth inj
