I dont know for sure, but my guess is if you slip the clutch it shouldnt damage anything. Just make sure your not going too fast so you can still be able to stop if needed and not over crank as well.

Remember do not dump the clutch because that is the only way you can damage something.

Also back when I was 19 with my first stick shift car 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R spec V. I cant remember what I was doing exactly but I turned off the car while I was rolling and then I quickly turned the key to on position (not start) and the engine started up again. So with new cars I think it should still start up with the push methond. But remember to make sure you have the battery plugged in. If you remove the battery the car will not start.
i was told by a very good mechanic that if your on a normal not to steap of a hill it is better to let release the hand brake put it into gear turn the key onto on mod (not start) and let go of the clutch gently and it should gently turn the car on and u berly even feel it turn on rather then use the starter

If a battery gets to a very low voltage ive saw them do crazy things, but that doesnt mean it cannot be charged back up.

Maybe you need to read ahead a little before you post, the posts right above you says age doesnt matter on working on a car, the kid was talking about fighting. So you can keep that ignorant comment to yourself cause myself am in my 20's.

Find a new mechanic.
thats a mini battery as in a non-liquid acid battery (drycell) normal car batteries are liquid acid filled and are not deep cycle (like a boat) and can not be drained and left drained then recharged to full capacity they lose some of there memory and therefore will never hold the same amount of charge as one that hasnt been through a similar process

We already tried giving you advice, and it sounds like you didn't really try too hard. That's why we don't bother any more. Here's my last bit of advice...take out your turbo timer and return all the wiring to stock and do it correctly. Solder and shrink tube every wire you cut or tapped into. Also since you're there at your steering column, why not check the immoblizer at the column switch to make sure you didn't screw anything up with that. And buy a tech manual or guide since you're hunting blind the whole way and have no idea what you're looking for.

you really should just return to the car to 100% stock and get yourself a chiltons or haynes manual

ANSWER THIS QUESTION

DO YOU HAVE A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT???????

and if you dont have a clutch why are you attempting to start the car?

so why dont you get yourself an OBDII code reader and see if you have a code sitting in there, the car may have already identified your problem....it will know if a sensor isnt doing the right thing

i dont want to hear another word from you until youve checked to see if you have any codes

and the manual basically covers every single inch of the cars systems from how to remove and replace your ash tray to what wires in your engine harness correspond to what sensors, if you didnt know that you should just walk away from the car game now

Sigh thats because you have to turn the car over and have it running for all the sensors to check if everything is running ok....... Might want to get that clutch first, and i hope your not installing that clutch yourself.....
