Full exhaust and no computer?

I was wondering if anyone is doing a full exhaust with no fuel computer? The reason I am wondering is because I want to add a exhaust but I want to wait for the AEM or something like it.

What exactally do you wanna know about it?

I have the standard series TB from Vishnu(with removed 02 housing). So far this is the only mod I have, no engine management, no intake, nothin else.

The car runs great, pulls much harder on top end. Have not had any problems of any kind. No CEL's at all. I am running the high flow cat though.

I have a full turbo-back w/ cat delete and no computer. No problems, but I am running rich as hell, (black soot on tail pipe).
I am also waiting for a computer (turboxs utec).
I'm thinking of getting an AFC now and sellling it after the utec comes out, (probably after SEMA in early Nov).
Besides, I could use the gas mileage increase with the prices now days.

ECU is a computer. But it's just programmed to run rich.

Catback or turboback mods is usually a good start. You don't need any fuel management until you want to get serious on tuning your car.

Thanks for all of the great posts! I just want to make sure the car is not going to go lean and blow up. I am used to Rx-7's lol. So full turbo back and no problems is nice. I know the car runs pig rich but right now the only computer out there is the Vishnu and you know how that goes. ONLY Vishnu parts and I don't want that. So far I am going to get the Hayward and Scott Turbo back. Going to wait for everything else to get more solid.

There is always Apexi SAFC, HKS AFC and Greddy Emanage for air/fuel management.

Good to know. I had planned to do a Buschur turbo-back system right away and was hoping I could put the ECU off until the A'pexi Power FC is ready.
