I want a Do it yourself kit to make the unit a double pump and wire it all up, I like to do things my self, even though I am sure I will figure something out later. Great product, sounds very good from all I have read, Great info for all.

Sorry, lost track of this thread.

Yes, we will offer an upgrade to the double pumper kits if/when these new ideas work out. Should be pretty reasonably priced, it's not a major change.

didysis, there is no way to make this a DIY kit, it is fairly impossible to build for 99% of the people because of the cutting/milling that is required to the stock assembly. For the cost of the kit, personally, I think it's nuts to not just buy it, even for someone who does like to do things themself.

I've seen a few other attempts at it from other shops/people and the cars ran out of fuel way before they should have because of the poor attempt at building it.

I THINK I've built them for an EVO6 already. If you want to take your fuel pump assembly out of your tank and send me a picture of it I'll know. I'd need you to send it here but I think I can do it. Send a picture to me at davidbuschur@buschurracing.com

No it will not fit with Bosch pumps. I ran 9.0 at 159 on our double pumper, believe me, that's enough flow for your build.

I just installed my double pumper yesterday. Pretty simple all in all just takes a little longer the first time around. It is a little bit of a tight fit at times.

Great fitment and a solid product!

great thread - and well timed :-)
David - do you know if the bosh pumps can be used submerged in ethanol (E85) too? Bosch say no, but Im nit sure if thats for good reason or butt covering.
My other option is a weldon external but thats a hassle relative to a pair of in tank 044s (its a customs tank BTW)

I just received your double pumper, and it has been in 2 weeks journey to where I live. Do you think I should install it right away to keep the pumps solvent?

Any updates for the couple things you were changing/testing on the dual pumps? Looking to purchase the double pumper this month and would rather buy it with the most flow possible for E85.

So are these now completely plug-n-play (you mentioned some sort of harness before)?

They are plug and play, always have been. The only harness is supplied and a single wire that powers the second pump.

The new modifications are getting closer. We got our first finished fittings in today, they seem to be incorrect though.

That's right for some reason I thought they weren't? Has the floor panel situation been fixed? Seems like alot of people have to bend/cut the floor to get them to fit due to the size of the fittings on the top. If it has, I will be placing my order for one ASAP to feed the red on e85.
