Question Anybody running the new "Skunk 68mm TB" yet?

Post here the results if you are running this TB. Dyno #'s on before and after?
This is almost the same cost to get TB ported to 65mm.
Just wondering how this Skunk TB performs?

we should have a car running one this afternoon. It is definitely a sexy piece, and I have high hopes for it!

Just FYI, be careful when porting out the intake manifold if you use the stock manifold with it... right behind the TB flange it measures 69mm on the outside so if you or have some one go porting it, watch out for that, its really easy to end up with a parts of the manifold that are 1mm thick hahaha

Is this 100% bolt-on? I also wonder if they use high pressure shaft seals.

If you look at the picture it they are using Allen head bolts to mount it, ours did not come with bolts... so i you would have to get those.

If you aren't going to port your manifold, aside from switching over the sensors its it pretty much bolt on best I can tell... but I don't really see the point in putting it on if you aren't going to port the manifold, or use an after market manifold.

It does not accept the water lines like the stock TB does, but you can easily loop the water lines together....

I bought one and attempted to dyno test it, but it leaked air really badly and would barely even idle. After going round and round with Skunk2 about it I ended up yanking it off my car and going with a Mil.Spec 65mm ported unit instead. Both shaft seals leaked air very badly. I just wish it performed as well as it looks! Glad I went with the Mil.Spec though, 100% bolt on and idled/ran perfectly with no adjustments needed.

Sorry to hear this, hopefully someone will have better luck. I have been waiting quite sometime to hear results on this thing.

Same thing happened to mine. It was leaking really BAD thru the shaft seals
