Yea it's only when I'm moving. Turning the steering wheel left doesn't do anything itself, I have to be moving. That's why I thought it was the axle. Now I'm thinking it may be the wheel bearing. Also it only does it when moving forward, not in reverse.

i am having the same prob right now. i would like to know what it is also. i know one thing that i have is the t-case death wine. so i thought the pop and binding sound was from my t-case. i hope we can fine the real reason why our car is doing this.

it is making the sound when you go in and out of parking spots? you can only hear it when you are driven real slow. i hear it more when i am backing up. (wheel cut to the left)

Mine is not there in reverse for some reason. Only when rolling forward and going left is when I hear it. It's definitely a popping/binding sound. I guess I'm going to replace the bearings next.

mine does it forward or backward. what bearings are you going to change? wheel? if it was your wheel bearings wouldn't you hear it all the time not just turing.
