338whp w/stage 1

I wanted to let you guys know our dyno results. I ran the same set up as the 12.6 at 110 mph last weekend. It is our RnR stage 1 kit which is on sale for $1675. This is all that was done to the car for these big power gains

RnR 3" SS turbo back
RnR 3" SS Intake w/filter
RnR ground wires
RnR MBC 20psi
S-AFC 2 w/RnR settings
boost gauge
Tial BOV

These are all really easy bolt-ons that we sell all day long. Now you can buy the complete set-up and get the same power we are getting. This is a simple set up to install and tune and that is why we developed it this way.

We didn't do any tuning on the dyno. They were all baseline runs after run. We did a total of 3 runs on the dyno with no cool down in between. All the tuning was done on the street before hand. So this is a very simple set up that will enable you to get max power out of your EVO and still remain reliable and safe.

If there are any questions just let me know and I will be happy to answer.

what A?F ratios are you running? How do you know that they are safe if you did all of your tuning on the street? Also, what dyne were you using, and what torque did you get? Nice numbers though especially for the money. very well done.

Did you use a wideband for the street tune? What were the A/F ratios using your SAFC?

Ya, everything was tuned with a wideband so it will make the most power and still be safe(we did this before the dyno). There wasn't a baseline for stock on for this particular car. There have been several cars on thsi same dyno and they all dynoed between 209-212whp stock. The dyno is a 4 wheel unit from Pann auto.

Let me know if there are any other questions, Ryan

Those are low stock numbers. Is that Shiv's dyno?

no way do you get 338 whp with only those mods, no way. The addition of cams can get you that much if you tune the hell out of them. Maybe the dyno is reading on the high side

Not one to call BS but those numbers are way to high for those mods. Unless you dyno'd on C16 race gas and leaned the car way out. Can you post a dyno graph.

So you are calling me a liar?

I will try and get dyno sheet up here, but am unsure on how to do it yet. There have been some EVO guys come by and see the car as well as the dyno sheet and have riden in it. Maybe they can attest to cars mods and dyno sheet since you don't want to believe me.

Yes, we are close to Buschur in power, but we still have the stock UIP unlike their short routed IC pipe. Also the stock FMIC.

We will be doing HKS cams, 225LPH and our FMIC kit this week and are shooting for 400whp.

It was dynoed on 3/4 quater tank of 91 octance pump and 2 gallons of 100 octance pump gas. I get this at the pump put a little in everytime. I would estiamte it would be very close to 94 octane that all the east coast guys get.

I was trying to get it as close to the octane that the east coast guys get, so it will be fair comparison.

I've run similar times with more or less (no grounding kit or BOV) the same mods.. Dyno readings are really a factor of correction, so its hard to compare different manufacturers.. **BUT** No point in a dyno debate..

If you look at the weight of the car, gear ratio, and the time he ran (his trap speed is just about right for the 1/4 time)

There've been a few who have seen my car.. I've run a best of 12.42 @ 112 with consistent 12's even when I'm lazy launching.

In any case, you would be looking at just over 320hp at the wheels, so I wouldn't rule it out altogether.

Everyone who has tuning experience seems to be going in a similar direction when it comes to upgrades, so its no surprise to see a close pack of similar times and mods until someone discovers a "Secret Tuning Trick"
