The RNR stage 1 kit seems it's the same as the Buschur kit but for around $1600. They also use the SAFC-II but for 91 octane.

Hmm, how about this:

turboback
IC with piping
Intake pipe and filter
emanage (better than SAFC)
cams (264 set)
walbro pump
MBC
gauges

From there, proper headwork will make some nice improvements as will a decent turbo kit.

Their UTEC will be here shortly and their stuff is top quality. I'm waiting for the UTEC myself

Well, first of all, the only stage 4 I see on their site for 4 grand is a WRX, and second of all, it's only 20 more hp than Dave's setup, which is half the price. The UTEC will be an interesting proposition for EVO owners, looks like you guys will be finally getting something close to DSMLink (albeit, more expensive with less features).

Dave, why haven't you guys tried some 272's yet? They do make them for the EVO, right?

In TXS's defense, it would be a poor idea to compare cost/power of a WRX kit with that of an EVO. $4k in TXS products should be pretty quick. 272's are made for the various EVO's, yes.
