yeah i got 600 miles on it. i already launched it when it had 400 miles on it

 

i just launched it really good last night, man this clutch grabs!!! but the noise still occurs like in the videos i posted in the last page

 

I installed my Exedy twin and it whined for about 5000 miles and then it just went away after I started hammering on it. So go out and beat it up

 

last night i was "brake boosting"

 

Yeah when i first got my exedy stage 1 it was noisy...then after street launches the track and just being mean on it it got quieter......

It's normal bro, that's the downside of aftermarket parts, they perform better but you sacrifice driveability

You hear it the most when the car is at a stop because that's when the most amount of friction is being applied between the clutch disc & the flywheel. When you're moving both the disc & the flywheel are moving so there is less friction involved along with less noise. Different clutches use different materials to promote grip/grab and the downside to some materials is noise.

oh yeah all this time i was waiting to change my t-case fluids (every 15k) and i got 11k on the fluids so 4k i got to play around with. As soon as i found out i launched the hell out of it

 

Has the noise ever come back?? Should I go launch mine twice lol?

I started getting the noise with about 200 miles on my CC stage 4. I as of now have just under 500 miles on it.

 

i launched it alot i got 5,000 miles on the clutch and i ran a 12.5409 with this clutch noise still happens but i guess it is normal for a good clutch? i got videos on page 1 does yours sound the same as my noise?
