i knew a guy with an ACT that did it with 2000+ miles. I believe its just one of those deals. It will do it sometimes and not others. I would drive it to break in then give it a real nasty launch and see if some heat makes the issue go away.

i got about 300 miles on it shifts great. i will launch it as soon as it hits 500 miles

depending on the amount of city driving you do you may require more miles. If you just do alot of highway miles the clutch will never go thru its heat cycles as intended for break in.

i drive alot i actually launched the car this afternoon properly and damn it holds great. and still makes the noise.

dude just fill the tank up...go drive around till u get 500 miles on the clutch then go launch the thing n be nasty with it.....Show it who wears the pants in the relationship!

forgot to mention also when i downshift to 1st gear (instead of using breaks) same thing happens

happens when takeoff from a stop. when car is in motion it's fine no noise whifts great trough gears
