i had a clunk/ click noise coming from my drvier side front wheel but it was only when I turned the steering wheel at a stop or taking off from a stop...ended up being the sway bar linkage was loose....have you check to see if it could be a wheel bearing?

is it harmonic? is it more of a click or a thud?

as said above... it could be ur wheel hub...

other things to check/retorque:
-ur camber and safety bolt at the bottom of the strut
-ur lugnuts (sounds stupid but it has happened)

check those....on my eclipse i started getting this clunkin noise from my front driver side wheel and thought i screwed up the axle but got home and the lugs we loose but i guess if you had the axles replaced and the problem presists then its pry not the lugs

Also could be suspension spring shifting in the perch.
Do you have stock suspension?
