Car dies after walbro install
after I installed the walbro @ about 4:00 pm I took it out for a drive for about 30 min then I parked it. decieded to do some logs at 10:00 and as I was driving out to my spot the car dies.
I tried to start it but no luck, it jusk cranks but does not start. I got a ride from a friend and we swapped back to the stock thinking it may be a bad pump but still does not start. I'm thinking it might be the relay since the pump is not turning on, can anyone think of what it might be? please help since it's parked on the side of the road outside of town!!!

everything looks good unless I'm missing something? was woundering where is the relay for the fuel pump? are they known to go out? I was thinking about just hardwiring it to get it home will that work?

same thing happened to me. i thought i could get away without using the wiring kit with the pump cause my buddy did and has had no problems. anyways i installed it worked fine for the first start up took it for a test ride for about 3 or 4 miles and stopped at a light and would not get any power and pump turned off. i had to swap back stock pump and fired right up. then i used wiring kit and never have had a problem since. maybe try that?
about little under half, and yes everthing else checks out fine, the pump is not getting power don't hear it turning on, WHY ? I took a day off to mess with it and geting towed. any one else have any ideas? could it be crank angle sensor? could it be my ecu? please help batery now is almost dead from trying to crank it

the pump is not getting power. Its all trial and error, my father and uncle made me learn the hard way. Trace the power to the pump and see why thers no power to it. More then likely its just the relay or fuse. Its not the pump because the stock ones not getting power either. Its deffinetly a power problem.
unless your ECU took a crap, but i highly dougbt it.
goodluck
