IntercoolerR BreakdownN
After searching for about 2 hours today I decided to start this thread.
I think it would be a useful guide for purchase of a new intercooler.
This is what I am looking for from as many of you as possible:
Brand of Intercooler:
Model and or Type:
Flow rate and or pressure drop:
Piping required if any:
Modification for fitment if any:
Weight:
Picture of Intercooler:
Dyno:
Price:
Please help out with this. I know most of this can be done just by looking at the stats from the producers, but I want to see real world examples. I think this would help out alot of us.

Brand of Intercooler:ETS (Extreme Turbo Systems)
Model and or Type: 3.5" thick standard end tanks (not wide tanks)
Flow rate and or pressure drop: 1127cfm-750hp at 80% efficiency
Piping required if any: ETS or stock
Modification for fitment if any: It says "Requires Minor Trimming on EVO 8", but mine fit ok without trimming, not using crash beam.
Weight: hmm, not sure.

Modifications: had to use some muscle to get the bumper on with no crash beam

keep in mind an intercooler is not a power adder, simply an anti knock component, generally only necessary for larger turbos or high(30+ psi) boost applications
i went with ETS, great price and fitment. i have the 3.5" and can keep my crash beam for when im not at the track.
