Ive been looking for a while and today I found this on a supra forum !

I personally would rather stick with the electronic since you can have complete silence at the push of a button, I have no leaks when its closed so its 110% silent or same noise level of the stock exhaust, but then again I did custom midpipe.

Pretty good idea, basically the same thing as using the EPM dump except farther down in the exhaust stream if coupled with a Hobbs switch so it will open up at whatever boost you desire instead of whatever the installed wastegate was set at...

I ran a downpipe and cutout/testpipe with the stock catback. For the electric unit check out Race Ready from Jegs.com Comes with a lifetime warranty, they even cover damage from water or pounding a speeding bump.. etc etc

Did great for power and is great to have a silent car when you just want to cruise.

I tried the boost activated and to be honest it was pretty annoying. When youre on the highway doing 80-85 and you want to pass someone you easily hit 10 pounds of boost and it cracks open. The car sounds like its broken more than anything lol If you could set those to open at liek 15-18psi then they would be great.

Cheers!

I think that is a great concept! I agree with 4WS that it would be better if there were a stiffer spring so it would open only on higher boost. It keeps the setup as stealth as possible and quite frankly just makes more sense in my mind.

IIRC they said that you could get a stiffer spring for higher psi
or a hobbs switch or a MBC ...

The little tube on the oppisite side of the cutout is just a bung for the 02 sensor to go in so I dont throw a code
