Just fished installing o2 dump

Jeez what a pain in the @ss it was!!!!!!!

I seriously don't want to go through another o2 housing install in my life. If I were to do it again it would pull the exhaust mani with the turbo to do this.

After the first test drive the car is loud.

I also did the LICP at the same time. I'm kinda disapointed because I can't tell the difference in hp just extra noise. I will be installing an fuel pump and a GM 3port soon and going to AMS for a retune so hopefully I can see the difference on the dyno.

But WOW, at WOT the car is loud.

You're lucky none of the bolts/studs snapped during the install. You probably wont see anything until you get your retune and see a the difference on paper.

The hardest part for me was getting the o2 sensor off. I broke my o2 sensor socket.

PD BLASTER works magic man. The hardest part was the under tray (which is not going back on) and the o2 sensor. After PD Blaster it broket loose quickly but just getting it off was PIA.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
I did not notice gains until I re-tuned my car for it. Once I did - it was an impressive kick in the pants.

And yes, it was a PITA. Otter and I took a few hours to do it. Ended up taking the turbo out - made it 100x easier with it off the car.

hah i remember my time doign it!!!! tried it with the turbo in car first then snapped two bolts on the turbo/mani flange so pulled the turboe out and made it a lot easier to get to the o2 housing, then put it all back in after fixing broken bolts and forgot to put the bolts back on the motor where the bracket went to so was leaking oil and took 3 days to ind it and realized those stupid bolts lead to the balance shaft!!! haha but got it done and learned a lesson now its easy!!!

Took me about 4-6 hours total, alone to put my 02 housing dump on. With the radiator and manifold off, the job would be gravey. Especially the radiator. BUT, I had just drian/filled with new coolant and didn't have a bleeder funnel at home so I just did it with the radiator still installed. Not a fun job.

Ohh well. I noitced a differance even without a tune, but it wasn't drastic. I'm still not tuned. I'm waiting for my PPI manifold and I'm going to put a Perrin intake and ETS UICP one with it and then go get tuned. I'm hoping for 30-40 extra WHP over what I had with the ETS UICP, JMFab dump, Perrin intake and PPI manifold.

Its not that hard man, just make sure you have time. Everyting is just time consuming. It took me about 9 hours but I also heat wrapped the downpipe, put in HIDs. The DP is a pian in the @ss if you are doing it solo, and the under panel is really time consuming.

All I know that after doing the o2 install my self, if I ever go green or red turbo I will be doing it myself. It is a good learning experience.

taking the whole manifold/turbo out is the best way to do it. Removing the radiator also makes things easier and prevents the possibility of poking a hole in it lol.

So I went for a drive today and my SES came on. Code P0243.

"Malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for wastegate solenoid A."

Poped the hood and realized I forgot to plug in the stock boost solenoid back in, LOL.
