car has been down for almost a year now...

i am doing a full on build on my evo. i am trying to tackle most of this by myself with some general mechanical knowledge. i has a few issues i belive.

ignition: after constantly blowing out spark i bought a msd dis-2 box. to run this box do i just get 2 after market coils and wires. and is this box an actual ignition or jsut an amplifier? like does my stock ecu control the spark still and msd just makes it stronger and can fine tune it?

also what is the talk im hearing about using a dsm 7 pin ignitor? or is that when using a differnt ignition set up? because i picked up one of those ignitors from my friend just incase

also i am going to try to maintain the stock ecu. i have a sheet meatal intake and throttle body. there is like 10 sensors on my stock unit. on the after market unit ith stock ecu wich sensors will i need to maintain? just the tps and map sensors?

there are 2 things under the intake manifold. one is mounted ont he manifold braket and one is mounted to the underneath of the intake. one has 3 vacumm line ports and an electrical connection and the other has to a little larger vacumm ports and an electrical connection. what are these and do i need them? i will be gettting a good tune but retaining the stock ecu.

do i need to maintain the iac and the water lines to the t.b or can all that be eliminated and the iac turned off in the ecu (stock)

what is the stock bore of a 06 evo with mivec?

can i run adjustable cam gears on the mivec or only one cam gear?

what do you think of an agp 60.1 turbo? used for 700 bux. should i buy it and find parts to make it work on my car. or is it junk and keep looking?

thanks

Sounds, like trouble

As far as ignition issues I recommend SparkTech highly sparks won't blow out on all that other stuff you got your hands full , There are no cam gears for Mivec

Didnt read your post thoroughly, but a 60-1 is a dinosaur. Very old technology, go with something else.

mivec IS an adjustable cam gear
just a gear on the exhaust is all that you would need on a 9

can i get a cam gear to replace the one on my intake side? its kinda ugly and im not running a timing cover, so i think a set of older style hks's with an hks belt would look great. but i hear that i can only get one cam gear for my car?

Not sure about intake air temp, but those soleniods mounted behind the stock intake manifold are the fuel pressure solenoid and something else.

Water lines through the throttle body can be bypassed.

Ignition- go with Sparktech

As for the MAP sensor- I just found this and I'm getting one for my sheet metal intake manifold:
