lol which one evo VIII or IX???

i am still looking for an accurate compressor map for a JDM Evo IX GSR (Inconel wheel i believe?)

well thats just it i need to know the specs of the different turbo s to see which one i will need for my project im gonna go with the Vlll if you have any info it will help

thanks man i have alot more to go on now my buddy i met at the local track has his shop and is building this kit for me and i need to pick the best turbos to purchase

What exactly will the applied use be? What do you mean that your buddy is building you a kit? For a stock turbo you don't need any kit whatsoever. Or do you plan to use a turbo other than the stock 16G?

Don't think he has an Evo...

Looks like he might want to build a twin Turbo kit for a Mustang V8 using two Evo Turbos...

i dont have an evo my bud that owns a shop is helping me or pretty much building it anyway im on here to find out what i need to know about these turbos and to buy some but right now i think im wanting to find the best and its looking like the 4-8 are looking like some of the best is this correct?

and how do the waste gates work on these are external and need to replace a spring everytime you want to change boost??

There internal wastegates, all you need is a bc to change boost. The 16g's might be to small for your mustang bro. Monster tq but no top end power at all. thats jus what i think.

Bear in mind that EVO 4-10 turbos are twin scroll, which might not be ideal for a V8 twin configuration. You might want to find something more suitable, like a DSM style 16g.

I have v6 not a v8 so whole different ball park and there are other guys running in the 11s with this set up on V6s
