Help, I drop 1 new injectors to engine (outside)

Ok, I was trying to install my injectors this morning. Running out of time and somehow one injector came loose and fell between the big crack of the intake manifold just like this one bolt I drop a few months back. I got the bolt out finally!. Now, I have to find the injector Anyways, I hope I don't have to remove the intake manifold.

After removing the fuel line, I spill some (not a lot) of gas near where the intake mani meet the head. Is that going to cause any problem? Fire??? Should I wash that area with water? Brake cleaner?

your fine dude. Ive spilled gas all over sooo many things its not even funny. It dries soooo quick. Honestly the brake kleen is just as flamable as gas is. lol

Its inevitable though man. when working on fuel rails and injectors your gonna spill fuel. Just use common sense and dont smoke a cigarette or light a soldering iron or something near where you are doing this work.

^What he said. There is really no other earthshattering tips we can give you besides having some patience. Also get as much light in the area as you can and maybe you will be able to spot it. Good luck

Thanks for the advice. I was out of time so it seem to be hard to find it but I'll try looking a little bit closer tonight after work.

you can put something sticky on the end of a rod when you find it to try and fish it out.
I dropped a stubby flat head the other night and took me a few to find it. Then took me a few to fish it out with my extendo magnet. Thing has tooo much hold and clings to everything. But it got wedged back in the cross member. Took me a few mins, but I got it out. I realized my hands are toooo big to fish down below the IM.

Just curious. I know this is a rediculous question but is magnet going to cause any issue with the injector?
