i was blowing spark out at 22lbs (not acceptable) at all. i will be running upto 40 psi. i am just wondering if a oem ecu with the msd dis2 box and good coils, plugs, and wires will hold up to my demands?

also i keep hearing talk about a dsm 7 pin ignitor and coils? i dont understand what your talking about. will this method work on an evo ix? and will it work with my msd dis 2 box? if it will can someone explain the basics of that setup and some info on the parts and wiring?

 

What power level are you making to be blowing spark out? over 600?

 

wasnt much. not sure on the number but my quater times were high 11's. ive been building my car for about 6 months now and will be over 700hp next month or so when it is done. but i ant a nice healthy spark with no popping or missing or blow outs. i have a dis-2 box with good oem replacement coils and plugs. what do ya think? will this work for my at levels over 700? also will i need aem ems to help tune the ign?
