Buschur Build/Tune + BBK = One Broad Power Curve!
Im not sure how I missed this thread.
Its always a pleasure to have you here in Ohio Trevor and have the opportunity to hangout. I cant wait to see what the new setup does this year. It should be a LOT of fun!

This coming Sunday I will be ripping it up! Hopefully it is dry and warmer out.
glad you pulled this thread up. I forgot about this BBK thread. I dont know how anyone would compare the BBK to the red after seeing these results. the red is just a much bigger turbo. Dave is making 510+ with his red setup. compare that to the BBK at 425 on a really flying good BR setup. not really a comparison if you ask me. The BBK is just better for the majority of folks because big turbos are hard to setup correctly and get good results. thats the category the red is in. its a big turbo that gets mediocre results from average setups with just bolt ons. the BBK is a smaller turbo and will perform better in average setups with just bolt ons.

On a small frame (stockish size) you may be able to make more power on the E85 than on C16 or Q16. This would be true in cases where you max out the turbo before reaching the knock threshold of the E85. In this case the extra oxygen contained in the E85 acts somewhat like nitrous or higher boost - more "air" (actually oxygen) is sprayed into the combustion chamber than from the air mass provided by the turbo. . . thus allowing more power to be made.
BUT - in cases of large turbos and higher boost where you are able to move past the knock threshold of the E85 - Q16 will make more power . . . you may only be able to safely run "X" psi with the E85, but X+5 or X+10 psi on C16 or Q16 . . .
