I assume you have a ported intake mani w/ 65mm TB? What is the little carbon piece over the cam angle sensor? Just a protector/shield or something else?
Looking at my old white EVO's dyno numbers with the FP Green, I see the same behavior up top. This thing definitely flows more on the top end! I definitely think you would pick up some time with this turbo by the looks of it.

I do have the Buschur ported intake manifold and fairly certain it has the 65mm TB. The CF piece is a heat shield for the cam angle sensor. Buschur was seeing a number of failures with the sensor that seemed to be related to heat from the manifold. I did not want to take any chances with that. Between the coating on the manifold and the shield, the chances should be very minimal.

I cannot wait to get more seat time in the car. I did not get nearly as much as I was hoping to last year. It would be interesting to see the curve on that other EVO. I am guessing it has a FP Red? Weight is definitely a big factor and one I am still concerned about. I was able to remove about another 125lbs out of mine and the car should be right around 2800lbs with me in it now. The only other thing at this point that would be easy to do is cut the cage out which has to weigh 150lbs or more with a significant amount of that weight high up. I cut part of it out that was not needed and unfortunately they did not use chromoly tubing so it is HEAVY...I just cannot bring myself to do that yet as I am still hoping to get back into the road racing scene in the future when I can afford it. Part of me still wants to cut it out though and just weld in a chromoly cage down the road. I will make that decision after I see how competitive the car is this year. Looking at some of the other forums there are some other projects that will be joining that epic battle It should be a highly competitive season in XP...only two more weeks until it starts!!!

Sorry, I missed your questions in my first replies. Yes, hotside was ported. The O2 is the one that Buschur uses/recommends and is coated. The exhaust manifold is also a Buschur ported one. The old EVO did make about the same power but fell off up top alot sooner. It also came in a bit later.

So the bottom line is that you changed from the GT35r set up due to your current autocrossing endeavors, right? I'm really thinking that the BBK Full can achieve 500whp seeing that it's possible with stock IX turbos. And I'm willing to bet that the power curve will be significantly greater as well.

Yes, that is the only reason for the change. Autox'ing with the GT35R would not have been competitive IMO. I would be shocked to see a stock IX turbo make 500whp on Buschur's dyno

I'm think more along the lines of a Dynojet. I'm a fan of the BBK/F. I see that we have the same avatar. I have an E85 station less than two miles from my house and regardless of which direction I travel in Texas there is always a station. I keep the listings in my glove compartment just in case things get a bit sticky.

It made 418whp, 425 tq on a 2.0L, Green, and E85 - but the spread was not as wide as on the current setup. . .

I had originally bought stickers like the avatar for my car from NEVC. I am a big proponent of E85 and decided to make the avatar in my profile a couple years ago I am glad to see others also have similar opinions on E85

Yes, we have E85 all over Wisconsin. I would be using it in the Magnum but I want every last bit of horsepower I can get. If it was more of a street car, there is no doubt that I would be running it!
