Exedy Twin SD convert to HD

My SD is slipping now. Is it possible to buy the rebuild kit for an HD, but put it in my SD frame?

Also. I been throwing up options here, because i need a new clutch. Its either HD twin or a triple disk. Looking for 430wtq right now, with plans of 500+ in the future.

I have the SD twin. As far as I know, the only difference is the pressure plate. All other components are the same. And, GL with getting in touch with someone at Exedy. I have called 3 times and left 3 messages and have yet to get a call back.

It looks like they use the same disks. My guess would be that the pressure plate uses a stiffer diaphragm and they are interchangeable. If you cant get ahold of exedy, contact one of their main distributors.
