Exedy Twin Hyper HD or SD ?
Exedy Twin Hyper HD or SD ?
Hello,
I just put in a new stage 2 sheptrans transmission, 4 pack clutch Exedy stage 2 ceramic and new PTE6265 from AMS GT900X. In Evoscan I was hitting 2byte loads 260 and now with the new turbo at 27psi I am hitting 345 loads now with my new stage 2 ceramic at 7000 to 8000rpm I can't put the gears in and I contacted John at sheptrans and he said this is a common thing he told me to install a twin plate and I was going to install Exedy but there is the HD and SD I think I should use the HD I should hit the 10 sec 1/4 with this so an SD is for more light power HP.
Any advice will help thanks mates ?

200 or so is all it really seems to take. The SD should actually NEVER be an option. There is absolutely no reason to buy it. If someone is worried about pedal feel and is thinking the SD is the answer they dont need a twin, period.
Just a thought here but that's a big turbo. If you have plans on running some type of racefuel, that twin hd will not hold the power that turbo is capable of making. You'll need a triple for that.
