Worth Porting Stock Intake Manifold?

My set up is gonna consist of full bolt ons (everything in my sig including an AMS FMIC, GSC S1 Cams, ported invidia o2 housing, ported stock exhaust manifold, bbk full turbo w/ ported hotside, meth injection and boosting 28 psi.) I don't believe I'm missing anything. What do you guys think my gains will be? I know every car is different but I'm asking for a rough estimate. Is it worth porting it?

Porting the IM and TB will cost you upwards of $300 and a lot of annoying labor. The gains on small turbos amount to 5-10whp. Not worth it in my opinion.

That's what I figured. I'm not going to go with a bigger turbo anytime in the near future.

Seeing as though you are in SD, give james a call. I'm not sure if it is his IM or Aby's, or who's, but he is selling Stock appearance Intake manifolds that are on the level of the wilson V2's.

I think it was tested by Aby that porting of the stock intake manifold opening at the plenum to 65mm as well as a 65mm TB will have gains upwards to 10 peak. Doing the runners and more in the plenum can only give you more. Dont expect a lot of peak power, just more over the curve.

If you can spend some money, I would hit up MAP. Their manifold looks very promising. I heard Aby @ Milspec is working on something that's supposed to be good, but then all his porting is ridiculous.
