You need to find out if this was a catastrophic engine failure because blowing holes in iron blocks isn't easy to do and if it wasn't from that you dont want to put another motor in and it goes kaboom.

Get it inspected, you dont want to ruin you brand new BR motor because a bad tune.

the motor seized due to a crack in the block and having all my oil just poor out as i was driving... i am ordering a buschur 2.0 shortblock on monday, putting a evo 9 turbo on, changing my bov and bc, and checking my fuel system.... i bought the block off of some one on here for 1200 a while back and it was leaking oil so i figure it was my fault of not just buying a new motor, i think that the crack just got worse and worse and finally seized the motor, i am willing to trade my fp white turbo for a stock 9 plus 450 cash

Your joking right? I mean to sell a FP white that you ran on an engine with severe oil loss problems??? Are you just trying to pass on the issues the turbo has due to the oiling problem? Do the right thing and either get it rebuilt at your expense or advertised that it is likely damaged from your incident. To ask for a stock 9 plus cash for damaged goods is wrong.

if you the car starve for oil you will only get spun rod bearings or spun crank bearings and you can see your OIL check light blinking. If there's any bent valves or whole in the piston. That mean detonation. You'll need a better tune.

ok deathtracks newbie if i want to sell my turbo i will do what i wish, the turbo was not the problem if you could properly read it says i had a small crack in my block that caused my oil to run out.. the turbo is still in mint condition since it only has 3k miles on it, im selling my turbo to make a lil extra cash so if you want to talk s**t dont do it here, you have no idea what condition the turbo is in because u have not seen it and dont tell me what is right from wrong, what are you my mother?

the general idea is that once a motor goes, or is going, it is trashing the turbo bearings at the same time.

GL on the new build. Id be a little more cautious next time.

yaa i am being very cautious this time... i bought the last block off of some guy on here from arizona for 1200. he told me it was a full shortblock and when i recieved it it was just a bare block and then i had to have him send all the internals... a lot of stuff went wrong and took forever to get the car back and running and now i think that he knew the block was faulty and did not tell me and thats y i kept having oil dripping so i am ordering a buschur 2.0 block and having kevinD drop it in and tune it, this way there is no worries about the condition of the block and i know i am getting a great product and having a great guy put it all together

Good choice and very smart one, i was going to say go with a built BR or AMS a couple days back when i saw this thread.

as for the turbo send it into FP and get her converted into a red and enjoy the new beast, that bottom end will hold it all day.

little tip for ya bud,,, th oil cooler is the most comon mistake most make when they blow motors they keep the old oil cooler without even cleaning it, metal particles may be hanging in there from the previouse engine and they migrate into the new engine and caboom cause failure on a brand new motor, Jarod and them guys will take care of ya
