evo acting funny...

I tried firing up my evo today, after having it in the garage for the past year while i was away. It was completey dead so i did a jump start and it still wouldn't fire up, finally after i got it started i was driving and turned up the stereo and it died again...

could my battery possibly be dead? or do i need a newer battery to support my system? i am running a w7 and 2000 watt amp

i also added newer gasoline and let it run for quite awhile after i took it for a spin..

Battery isprobably F-ed and can not provide power during the radio's spikes, take it to Kragen or whoever and they will test it for free

jump your car, and check to see if battery is charging.
put a volt meter up to it, check that it has 14.5 volts. if so alternator is working.
when car is parked or you drive it around check it and see how much it has.

i would say its your batter, if you havent drivin it in 2 years.

Check your alternator and battery. I'm sure your battery is bad after being completely discharged too. Good luck.
