HKS SSQV VTA with 272 cams

I currently have the HKS SSQV set up to VTA with no problems. But I'm installing HKS 272 cams soon and I understand that in everyday normal driving it will cause low RPM drop downs when coming to idle after going WOT or POSSIBLY EVEN CUT OFF WITH THE 272s!! I know some people say they work fine VTA, but they have learned to drive around the low RPM drop down or stalling issue. How should I change my driving style to minimize these problems if I don't want to recirc??

dont cut the gas and stop quickly when u get of the gas and pull out of gear and hit the brakes the vacum is weak and the engine can stall.

yea I have the hks ssqv and kelford 272's. Its got its issues, but its really not that bad. Just takes a few more cranks to start, and has a loopy idle.

What type of issues are you (or anyone else with the hks bov) having with this bov if you don't mind me asking, and is yours set up to vta or recirculate? I'm about to purchase another bov and I have been considering the hks or forge bov's. I'm running hks 272's and currently have my boost at 28 lbs. but want to push it to about 30 or 31 lbs. Sorry if this is

I am running a HKS SSQV bov and HKS 272 cams with turbo/ fuel upgrade. I have been running my car since September 08 and have had less than 5 stall issues. If I feel it getting low in the rpm, i blip the gas. I have done a few drags with no issues from WOT to braking. I guess it depends on the car and the tuner. I would recirc if possible unless running speed density. In my case, without details, I had no choice due to time limitations but to run VTA. My car runs great and I consider myself lucky.

Why would you want to replace it? I have the Synapse on my car recirculated and its more than loud enough. Hell it scares old people walk/driving beside me haha

i figure the ssqv is a VTA blow-off valve because of it's diaphragm design and its beautiful sound. i would seriously rather dish out the extra money for a blow through as opposed to recirculating it.
