Gsc s1

Hey guys, looking into getting some GSC S1 cams due to the cost saving of being able to use stock vale train. Do people think they would work well with a Tomei 20G? I have also been looking at Kelford 272s but does the gain they give warrant the extra money on springs and getting them installed?

Also, is this an accurate depiction of the S1s at idle?

S1's on a 20g will work out very well. look for gains across the rpm band and a good 30-50hp increase in power... I personally would not run the S2 or kelford's 272 on a 20g but many have. look for 5-10hp increase but only in the 5k plus rpm range.

yes that is pretty close to what they sound like with a bit of tuning they can smooth out a bit more.

I actually ask because I enjoy the rougher idle :P.

So your saying the S1s should get me more power and a better curve then the bigger cams?

Mmmmm love that idle.

From someone in the know, is it worth my time and money using adjustable cam gears on the S1s?
