SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
Cost of the "new" Red? And I'm guessing you just bought it outright and didn't send them your core as per your statement about taking some side by side pictures...
And to everyone else question, I would say it is not a "stock appearing turbo" because it sure as hell doesn't appear stock! ahaha

It was my thread and I did respond I said I don't know. IMHO I say no but I winder what track officials will think about it. Either way I'm happy I have it. I too my car to The Shop and Jimmy was impressed said it looked sick and he can't wait to get it all together and running

and dirty *** car
.My car is truly daily driven beast. But it looks like after Jimmy, Junior, and Wayne from PPI get done with my car looks like I might be one of the many Street Monster that's been built by The Shop

COMPETITION, I luv it!!!! This 'stock appearing market' is skyrocketing on 2009; ATP, CBRD, TOMEI and FP. Second half of 2009 will definately be an EVO heaven for all vendors while people fight off for their numbers. Guys don't forget to post vids in YouTube too, please. I'm doing my part...

It's been discussed already but the compressor housing has surge ports and the inlet is 3". We are the first lucky few that have gotten this upgraded version. So the numbers will come soon.
I don't see how it's Stock Appearing....It uses a new compressor housing with an FP stamp on it. Stock appearing turbos still refrain from a bigger compressor cover and maintain a 2.5'' outlet.
I guess when you run now you have to state either REDv1 or REDv2!!

Technically its somewhat stock appearing b/c it still uses a stock turbine housing and or stock appearing/fitment exhaust manifold and O2 housing. I cant wait until FP comes out w/ a cast exhaust manifold like they did for the dsm's.
