Seriously, anyone w/o a cat or with a wideband in the rear02 bung, runs without issue with it removed. The ECU uses the RearO2 solely for emissions check on the cat. Its removal has (as far as I know) never caused any impact on the engine performance or operation. The nb02 on the O2 housing is the only one used by the ECU for tune/efficiency stuff, and that is closed loop only.

(This may not be 100% correct as the function of the front O2(bad memory), check the ECUFlash forums on the RearO2 sim and patch stuff if you don't believe us)

EDIT: You definitely need a exhaust downturn at the very least to attach to your down-pipe, just unbolting it and throwing the exhaust directly out onto your undercarriage seems like a poor idea at best.

Correct. The rear o2 sensor is for emissions output and will not effect the performance at all. The front o2 controls the A/F. I also agree that simply removing the cat and catback is a bad idea, especially if your still driving on the street. If you get pulled over for noise (which you will) you can get sited by the EPA for removal of the cat, which is a hefty fine.

all u will get is a CEL nothing more.

Weld another bung in the downpipe and use the defouler method or get a testpipe with a bung in it.
