Not really it could be debated until we are all blue in the face. I think it boils down to user preference. I have a buddy that is making great power on a stock evo 8 MR corn fed on the stock lower and upper pipes.

One of the main reason our LP2 is so popular is due to this exact reason! Also the fact it's an easy 12-18 whp over stock.

Thanks!

I 2nd that!

Are these things even worth it? I see the HP gains are pretty minimal, but then again they aren't too expensive. I was eying the Muse one on ebay that looks like the same shape as the ETS one. The only reason why I was considering this one is because it costs much less, and I can pick it up in Fitchburg Mass which isn't far from me.

Does it make a noticeable difference on spool-up or response, honestly? Thanks

LICP's are definitely a great mod to do. You can realistically expect ~10whp gains on the dyno when installing on a lightly modded Evo. I personally have the Nisei which I really like and am happy with, but had the ETS LP2 been available in aluminum with support brackets I would have gone that route instead.

dont mean to bring up an old thread, but i ordered the complete ets piping kit after a few weeks of research. i like how they use stainless and how their piping is really smooth (bends wise). can't wait to get them in and install it all!

I have the Nisei LICP, chosen for the brackets and aluminum. I love ETS and run their 3.5" IC, but I wanted at least one bracket for various reasons.

I would say the ETS V2, but I have R/TErnie's LICP that is the same design as ETS... Looks and operates great!

I went with the full nisei upper short route and licp. Never looked back! easy install very nice parts, and they have the brackets so they wont blow off! Just added a Perrin FMIC to the mix, showing nice improvements thus far!

I personally prefer nisei due to it's bracket but again it will be your choice.
