I think a licp that utilizes a better discharge pipe would be the best.

the oem discharge pipe gets necked down in a bend (~1.565" i.d.) = kinks smaller than the i.d. of the compressor outlet

That is why i made my own. it's 1.875" o.d., with an i.d. of ~1.810 This then feeds into a taper that increases to 2.5"... a PIA to make, but i only had to make 1

I think the only people currently making a complete LICP set-up is buschur racing.

iirc, fp sells just the discharge pipe...however neither of the 2 pipes come with a nipple on them the last time i saw 1, ~a year or 2 ago. I would try to find a 4ply union that tapers to the 2.5" diamter vs. a step change.

We can make an upgraded elbow that is 2.0" we have sold a few of them on special requests. The problem is they cost around $89.00 to sell. So if your looking for every ounce of power it may be beneficial, but most people will max out the turbocharger before needing that custom elbow to extract the last few horsepower. It is a nice piece though

I wish I would have taken a picture. I will on the next one and throw it up on the site.

ETS FTW

Some of the best products on the market and some of the only products that I will sell. Proven to make the best power, made from quality parts, and ETS has some of the best guys working for them.

ETS is a sponsor of my drag car, I don't take sponsors lightly and choice wisely

I ran the Nisei LICP with my ETS intercooler and upper pipe. The reason being was because it had the bracket that bolts in the stock location. I'm not sure if the newer ETS pipe comes with it, but I would opt for an LICP that has it.

If anyone pushes their car on a stock frame turbocharger it's you. Your car is a perfect example of what quality parts and tuning can do. Keep up the good work.

Thanks!

I know some people think after market LICPs don't do anything. When I installed my Tomei turbo,it was surging really bad. I put in the Buchur LICP, and it ran way better. I think bigger intercooler pipes make just as big a difference as bigger exhaust systems. The stock LICP is just too small. Anyway, I vote Buschur!

Not many people on here mention them, but Turbohoses.com sells an licp kit with the larger J pipe as well.

^^^ I am such a person. Show me a relatively significant improvement in performance and/or drivability on a shock-ish car and I'll buy one, myself. Until then...

Michael do you have any more info on this? I'd like to try out a larger J-pipe on my Black and am currently using your v2 licp. Is there anything I can do to upgrade? $89 is no trouble

Fwiw if I had known you offered a larger j pipe when I purchased my licp from you I wouldn't have hesitated at all for that option.
