Best LICP?

what's the best lower IC pipe? which makes the most power? i've seen a bunch of claims. so far ETS seems to have the best design, but i'd like to hear from people who've actually used these before i buy one. also, are they all direct swaps? no lines to relocate or anything?

I doubt there are any major power gain differences involved with LICP's. I've used a AMS piece and it's worked great. But it will be for sale next Saturday as my Buschur kit will be going on then

probably has been posted before, i think the ETS V2 style seems to flow the best. Muse also makes one of the same style, probably a copy.

This guy posted his review in ETS' site. Not sure how important the two brackets are for a proper install. It may also say something that ETS left the review up; at least they take customer reviews into consideration.
I don't know this guy; just saw this review when I was researching LICP's. What about the PPI pipe http://www.paradigmperformance.net/p.../evo/licp.html

Pipe kept being spit from the intercooler by psi, and it happenned in the worst of scenarios also, in a highway with no shoulders! Could have sworn i were to be rear ended by these maniacs sounding horns while watching their mad faces in my mirrors. STOCK lower pipe has two brackets and for very good reason; so the pipe does not get spit. Worst purchase ive made on the car.

The people who have this problem do not tighten the clamps tight enough.

You can see full dyno results above.

No Welds, No Crushing of aluminum piping when tightening the t-bolt clamps, Highest flowing LICP on the market!

If you have any questions, let me know!

+1 for the PPI LICP! Which sets the standard for a properly designed LICP.

No heavy steel, powder coated piping to retain heat here!

I went with Nisei but to be fair ETS started sellin their pipes stainless steel and they have a brushed steel finish that does not look bad at all.

get the neisi pipe kit. it has a bracket which holds the pipe up. I have the ETS pipe and it hung down low enough where you could see it sticking below the bumper. No matter what I did with the couplers it always hung low. Until the other day when I put my front lip on, I used a high strength zip time to hold it up using the stock licp mounting location. working great so far and looks alot better.

Yea this guy did not install it properly. Then blames the companies parts. I have never had a LICP blow off the upper once but never the lower and no LICP I have had kept the support bracketing. 4 LICP's since I bought the car 2 aluminum 2 steel I far perfer steel to aluminum piping anyday

The ETS LP2 will supposedly make the most power, but I opted for the Nisei since its aluminum and has a mounting bracket.

I had a AMS pipe and I made good power but with the Red going in soon I wanted to change my lower intercooler pipe for something that flows better then the AMS pipe so I opted for ETS IC Kit.

I would rather go with the ss version, a strong T-bolt clamp could/has and will bend the aluminum piping if you crank it down enough.
