So I have exactly what the thread says. It sounds like an exhaust leak from where my throttle body is. I have no idea what it is. We did a boost leak test and it leaks a little where the seal is but when the car is on i tried plugging it and it still ticks really loud. Any idea what this could be? Like I said, sounds like an exhaust leak, but where the Intake manifold/throttle body is.

 

I've heard the idle stepper motor make load ticking noises but this only occurs for a second or two. Also, this is usually a sign the stepper motor is about toast.

The only other thing I can think of is a burnt intake valve which is allowing gases of combustion to leak back into the intake manifold.
