I boost leak tested my car today and found a spot that is leaking. Unfortunately I can't really see back behind the throttle body to figure out where it is. From what I can see, hear, and feel it seems like it's coming from the circled portion of the attached picture. The noise changes audibly when I put my finger on this piece. What is this and can it actually leak or am I crazy?

 

change the oring and put a little high temp silicone sealant

 

Did you change the shaft seals? Those are known to leak.

 

Shaft seals have already been changed. A little piece of the TPS side shaft was torn during install (2nd set to do this) so I was expecting the leak to be from the shaft. Instead it was coming from this part.

 

change oring in there and it should fix it
