I'll take your word for it tho and ask Jestr and the people @ AWD motorsports tomorrow when they open, if they actually grounded the knock sensor down when they did this.
You already stated that it was wrapped up in a towel or something like it was a golden egg.

If Jestr would like our input, he is welcome to call me.

Yes we wrapped it in the towel like a golden egg, but what im trying to get at is, you stated in an earlier post that it will knock ALL THE TIME. And i posted that it only knocks between 3800-4000rpms @ idle while sensor is wrapped in a towel like a golden egg.

Point in fact is im not going to sit here and argue, i am going to take what you said in mind and ask the person who wrapped my knock sensor in a towel, if he grounded it tomorrow morning. And go from there.

If I recall correctly, my buddies Evo 6 came from Japan feeling like it made very little power. We did some logs and noticed it would knock at idle reving, 9 counts I think. We quickly found the wire to the knock sensor was chewed through by some rats as we also found some chicken bones on top of his tranny

Once we fixed the wire the knock was gone.

it won't hurt to follow scott's advice about grounding the sensor to at least rule that out.
