Mini battery love -

I still need to cut down the factory tie down rods which help hold it in place. The sides are also bent up to help prevent any forward/backward movement, and I still need to round off the sharp edges of the aluminum. I made it in 40 minutes and relocated the terminals behind the battery to clean up the area a bit, and then ran out of time to finish the little details and had to leave on a business trip for 2 months the next day lol.
I have this kit and voted for this on the poll. I love my ETS value mini battery kit. Havent had one prob w/ it in over a year of having it and in pretty extreme cold temps that we had this winter.
I guess you guys over looked Nisei Engineering's Trays. If you are looking for value, I don't think you can beat the CNC billet aluminum trays. Their UBC Kit is usually $190 with our Paypal Promo (DELIVERED)but, they don't have the normal battery it comes with "Genesis" so, currently they are supplying these kits with the upgraded PC680 for $200.

This is their value kit! For those looking for something a little more "high end" the New Genesis kit will be released shortly!

Any others that should make the list?
Any other info that ppl can chime in on? Like batteries - successes and failures - maybe biggest battery with the most CA? Or anything else you can think of?

Your rite, the pics don't do it justice. No, I did not have to cut any of the zip ties or anything to get the cables to fit.
Bringing this thread out from its slumber to see if people have any newer options for the mini-battery as Nesei is near impossible to contact/purchase from and Saikou isnt making the tray anymore (?).
Installed this tonight, it requires some lengthening of a ground wire and the factory looms will need some cleanup at a later date.

Comparison to OEM

Installed (stolen image, was too tired with midterms to take photos)

http://www.tristatebattery.com/produ...roducts_id=975
Cost breakdown:
Tray: $50 from ebay (shipped)
Battery: $64.95
Terminals: $20 (felt stupid paying 1/3 the cost of the battery for 2 posts)
--------------------------------
Total cost: $134.95 shipped, no tax
Additional cost: Battery Tender plus: $43
Car drives better than it has in the past year, the factory battery must have been damn near dead for so long. It actually quite shocking how much of an improvement in driving, idling, pulling and even between shift rpm drop this battery has made.
I have no idea why somebody would pay the $200 some of these tray's are going for, and then $130ish for the Braile (rebranded DEKA) battery.

Did you have to cut some of the zip ties and other area's to stretch the positive terminal that far?
