I got the tender because i have been carpooling alot lately and the car will sit for up to 4-5 days at a time.

Figured it was cheap insurance and the tristate site has 0% sales tax and free shipping, plus the cheapest price i could find for the tender ($43 vs. $55 locally, plus tax)

As the image was taken from somebody elses car I dont know, looks like it has a blue ETS coupler so thats my guess.

Thanks. I sometimes don't drive my evo for a week, sometimes longer in the winter. The tender is probably a good idea for the spring/summer/fall months when I'm only using my evo on the weekends and then I should just take the battery out for the winter. What you think?

the battery tender comes with a hard-wired adapter so you can install the positive/negative leeds directly to the battery and has a waterproof cannon plug so you can just leave the tender in the garage, pop the hood and plug in whenever you need to.

I'll leave the plug installed year round and plug in as neccessary. No need to pull the battery.

Thanks, can you link me to the terminals?

How is that battery holding up? What state are you in?

I've had mine for about a year and its great. Even when I let the car sit for 3-6 days, it still starts it right up.

the tri-state link to the battery, just click on terminals, they only have one kit and it was pretty nice.

The battery has been installed for appxoimately 19 hours and I will admit, it has held up all 19 hours very well. Havent had a single problem yet! (WA state)
