Evo IX piston to wall clearance. HELP!

Hello everyone, i have exhausted my resources on this search, and figured you all would probably know best.

I'm doing a "frankenstein build"..

I have a 1g 4g63t, I'm dropping a set of twenty over stock evo IX pistons in it, but i'm having some trouble..

I need to know what the PISTON TO WALL CLEARANCE is reccommended for these pistons.

Any help would be appreciated, and questions are also welcome.

from factory clearance is very tight at .001 -.0015
it would take really good machine shop to get clearances that close. the use of torque plate would be necessary. bore distortion with torque plate was .0008 as measured by my machine shop. meaning if you dont use torque plate and make perfect circles at .0015, when you bolt head on the bores will distort .0008 and you will be left with just .0007 clearance. doubtful you will find shop in your area with a torque plate. torque plates are block specific and about 450 a pop.

I was talking to my machinist because the information i got was .002 clearance, but the stock evo IX pistons are coated, and he thought .002 didnt sound right and would be too loose.

Machinist is Lee Sixt if anyone knows him, guess he's pretty famous in the drag world.
